DIFFERENT SORT OF DEMOCRACY IN INDIA
ReplyDeleteIn the future this kind of political party democracy is going to cause a lot of problems in forming a stable government.
So I think our political scientists should give some thoughts to changing the system of election. Still it is a democracy.
My idea is based on a democracy without any political party at all. We have to abolish all the poliBtical parties to follow this idea.
My idea (a borrowed one) is let every 5000 people of India elect a (let us call him basic democrat) representative.
This means, 700 million voters will elect 1,40, 000 basic democrats. These basic democrats will contest the elections not based on political party basis, but based on individual moral character basis. And these 1,40, 000 basic democrats, will form the electoral college and elect the Prime Minister of India.
And then this Prime Minister will select and choose his own Ministers from the best brains in the country as the American President does.
The Prime Minister will have the powers to hire and fire the Ministers based on their competence and honesty.
We can follow the same system at every Sate making use of the basic democrats to elect the State Chief Minister ( may be about 4000 basic Democrats Gujarat will elect a Chief Minister who will choose and select his own Cabinet).
Once the elections are over the basic democrats have no roles to play, and no offices to hold. We can conduct a national referendum to change the constitution of India based on this idea. I am aware of many unanswered question here.

ReplyDeletewe are not guests or tenants. Like all other citizens we have equal rights to live in India.
All civilized nations, including India have given the same constitutional rights to every one.
But God is GREAT and will never allow injustice to be done to any innocent people regardless of their religion.
Muslims are told that it is because of the generosity of Hindus that Muslims are living in India and thus sowing the seeds of fear in the minds and hearts of Muslims.
We can not yield to such pressures and we have to come out in the open claiming our due rights. We have to throw out the fear that blocks our progress and our freedom. We will never get our constitutional rights unless we demand it.
If Muslims are considered as vote bank, then it is their strength but we have to understand the value of our votes and exercise it thoughtfully.
Political depolarisation has worked to our disadvantage and so we have to do research on changing our voting patterns.
